iWhite Korea Whitening Pack is another product from the series that I am currently reviewing right now. It claims to be able to lighten one’s skin and reduce wrinkles and dark spots.
It serves as a peel off mask that will remove the impurities in your skin and brighten it.
I actually had high hopes for this since it was my first time to use a peel-off mask, but after trying the iWhite Korea Whitening Pack, I think I’m done with masks -- or at least this specific variant.
It's quite cooling for the first few seconds that you put it on your face, but it doesn't take long for the discomfort to sit in. I just couldn't wait to get the whitening pack off my skin. And when I was finally done peeling it off, my skin felt like it was on fire. Total ouch. :( I had it on my face for about 20 minutes and it still wouldn't peel off properly.
And besides, after using it, I didn't see any difference at all. *sigh* There was no brightness or revitalizing effect whatsoever. I suppose you still need to use it a couple more times for it to have a visible effect, but still, I expected a bit more from it. Although I guess my skin did feel a little smoother, softer, and a little bit pinkish. But then again, I did feel like I had been slapped in the face because there was this slight stinging feeling. Who knows, maybe it's just my skin.
For the price, I don't really regret buying iWhite Korea Whitening Pack, since it was very affordable and it was a good try. You can use the sachet for about two times, I believe. You just need to spread the cream evenly to make the peeling process easier.
Price: P22 for the sachet, P169 for the tube
Where to buy: Watsons
Will I recommend this? For those with sensitive skin, probably not. But it could work for others.
Will I buy again? No, I don’t think so. I find Etude House facial masks to be more suitable for my skin.
